STATE LAW

Uniform Computer Information Transactions Act (UCITA)
UCITA is a model "uniform commercial code" for software licenses and other computer information transactions. It addresses issues such as digital signatures, electronic records, and electronic agents. Several states have enacted or introduced versions of UCITA.

UCITA Online
A clearinghouse site for all things UCITA (or at least all things pro-UCITA).

Americans For Fair Electronic Commerce Transaction
A clearinghouse site for all things anti-UCITA.

Uniform Electronic Transactions Act (1999)
UETA, like UCITA, is a model code. It differs from UCITA in that it is addressed to electronic transactions generally. Several states have enacted or introduced versions of UETA.

UETA Online
A clearinghouse site for all things UETA (or at least all things pro-UETA), maintained by the same individual behind the "UCITA Online" site.
